Located in the Gauteng Province area of Johannesburg, the Soccer City Stadium is actually an old building that has underwent renovations and will be the main arena of the 2010 games.
The Soccer City Stadium will host the opening and the final matches of the World Cup.

Ellis Park Stadium's is near Johannesburg's city center. This facility will host 5 of the 1st Round matches, 1 2nd Round match and 1 quarter final match.

The Green Point or sometimes read "Greenpoint" Stadium is located near Cape Town's beach in a green environment... It is probably the most beautiful and a brand new stadium that lies at a wonderful location: behind it can be seen Table Mountain and downtown Cape Town, around it luxury homes and the ocean.

Moses Mabhida Stadium reflects daring architecture and its white color suggests purity, calm, peace. Another modern stadium, this one in Durban... Can hold 70.000 spectators and will host 6 1st Round matches, 1 2nd Round match and 1 semi-final match.

This stadium resembles a flat white flower and was named after the national icon, Nelson Mandela. It is located in the city of Port Elizabeth, very close to the ocean. Has 48.000 places and cost 270 million USD to complete. It was already opened in 2009.

The Free State Stadium is also called Vodacom Park Stadium. It is situated in the city of Bloemfontein and will host 5 Group Stage (1st Round) matches and a single 2nd Round match.

The Lotus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria was renovated in 2008 and will host 6 games during the FIFA World Cup events: 5 Group matches and 1 2nd Round (Round 16) match.

The Peter Mokaba Stadium has a capacity of 46.000 seats. The stadium cost 150 million USD and it is going to be opened in 2010 and will host 4 Group Stage (1st Stage) games.

The new stadium's construction started in 2007 and was finished in October 2009. It is also known as "The Giraffe Stadium" due to its 18 roof supports that resemble giraffes.
4 Group matches will be held here at Mbombela Stadium.

Royal Bafokeng Stadium is near Rustenburg city in the northeast and has a capacity of 42.000 people. The stadium was opened in 1999 and its capacity was extended from 38.000 seats to 42.000 seats. It will give home to 4 1st Round and 2 2nd Round matches during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
